This past Sunday, I was fortunate enough to go on a special tour of Allagash Brewing Company's facility, and, of course, I brought my camera along.
A couple of weeks ago, the wonderful folks from Sur Lie (see the other work I did for them here and here) kindly invited me to join them on this tour, and I gladly accepted. Our tour guide, Josh, came in on a Sunday (after running a 5k, mind you) to show us around and provide us with more information on Allagash beer than any of us could handle. It was truly a great experience. I got there a few minutes early and I shot around the tasting room/gift shop. Then I continued to shoot throughout the tour, getting photos of the group and the coolest parts of the brewery. I could have spent all day in there, shooting - what an awesome facility.
The free beer was good, too, I guess.
Anyway, here are the photos that I got. I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out. I've never shot anything like this before, so it was a bit of a challenge, but I thoroughly enjoyed it
Also, if you have some time to kill, I suggest that you head over to Allagash's Flickr page. Someone over there clearly knows what they are doing with their camera - the photos are very impressive.
Do you know of any other breweries I should try to check out? Let me know below in the comments!
